Just a note to say what a fantastic day our football team had today on the high ropes (Sat 16th June.) The lads ( and dads), thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we would just like to say a big thank you again to you and your colleagues from all at L.S.S. Madrid (U13). absolutely brill!!!!! thnx john jo & simon!!! Just wanted to say thanks to Jon and Jo for a great time yesterday afternoon. There were 5 of us girls wanting some adventure and fun to celebrate Lindsay's hen do and it fitted the bill perfectly. We all enjoyed it immensely and I for one would definitely like to do it again even though I ache in places I never knew existed!! We had the best day ever, I have never known the group so involved and enthusiastic - EVER!!! I would highly recommend this as an activity day and we will definitely be back! Your approach to the children was great-supportive but encouraging. It has
enabled us to find out more about the children other than their academic
ability. Since coming home apart from catching up on my sleep I haven't
stopped talking about the experience and I am at present trying to convince my
friends to visit and try the high ropes for themselves. Thank you once again.
Naomi We had a great time at Linwood Warren with our Cubs and Scouts when we camped in October. The boys were the envy of their friends when the word got round their respective playgrounds that they had been swinging up in the trees! We can't wait to see what the new activities will be like! The most exciting attraction in the countyBy Heather SharpleyGuide outdoor activity adviser. For those of you who want to try something different, come to the north of the county. Nestling in woodland, just south of Market Rasen is a camp site with a difference. It is the home of the incredibly amazing HIGH ROPES ADVENTURE a challenge ropes course that is built within the grounds. It is constructed between trees from ropes, wire and wood, it complies to all the relevant British and E.U. standards, and the Association for ropes courses and initiatives guidelines, it is also a GUIDE GHQ approved activity. Ideal for all guides ages and especially exciting for the 14+ and guiders who wish to have a go. Each participant wears a full safety harness and helmet and is attached to a safety line. The qualified instructors are both professional and patient, coaxing even the most timid to have a go. Starting just above the ground, the course elements are varied and challenging. They rise to 20 feet, then upwards to 40 feet, culminating in the exceptional aerial runway. This must be the safest, most exciting adventure activity to come to Lincolnshire. |
